Eric Ramey
10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Black Belt
Eric is a third-degree black belt under Eddie Bravo in the 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu system.
Eric began his jiu-jitsu journey at the Renzo Gracie Academy in New York in 2004 before transitioning to 10th Planet HQ in 2009, where he has become known for his contributions in technique to the system, including: passing, defense and guard work. Eric is renowned in the 10th Planet community for his innovative leg-locking system, and has traveled the world to share his knowledge through seminars all around the US, UK and Europe.
Throughout his career, Eric has had the privilege of studying under many notable instructors, including his sensei Eddie Bravo, John Danaher and others. He has been involved in coaching athletes at the highest level of the sport in submission grappling and mixed martial arts. His students have competed and won in ADCC, IBJJF, EBI, CJJ, WNO, UFC, and other prestigious venues.
Eric’s passion for jiu-jitsu is driven by his desire to build a world-class room with practitioners from all walks of life, including doctors, lawyers, artists and more. A room where recreational practitioners can contend with talent at the highest level. Additionally, he is committed to developing a pro team of world champions and coaches who can make significant contributions to the sport.

Sam Richetts
10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Brown Belt
Sam is a brown belt in 10th planet jiu jitsu under Eric Ramey.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, he began his martial arts journey at the age of 7 when he began taking Hapkido classes. Additionally, Sam has boxed as a hobby since he was 19. In 2017, Sam began his jiu jitsu training under Eric Ramey at 10th Planet Pasadena.
Sam puts a strong emphasis on being as technical as possible in all he does and is always seeking to learn and apply the smallest concepts and details at the highest level to make his jiu jitsu the most effective possible.
